The spring steel Musashi has been created with the beginning practitioner in mind. The sword is able to be bent at a 45 degree angle without affecting the integrity of the blade. The high resilience of the blade makes it much more forgiving for misaligned cuts. The sword comes full tang and fully functional. The blade is appropriate for all standard cutting targets.

Detailed Specs of the Katana:
Blade: The blade of the sword has been forged from 1060 carbon steel brought to a spring steel treat in a shinogi zukuri style. The sword is capable of being bent to a 45 degree angle without affecting the integrity of the blade. A bohi has been added to the blade to lessen the weight and give audible feedback when swung with correctly.
The blade comes full tang and very sharp.
Saya: The saya of the sword has been constructed from wood with a high gloss black finish. The sageo of the sword is black cotton with a wooden kurigata and golden shitodome. The koiguchi has been hardened around the outer rim.
Tsuka: The tsuba has been constructed from blackened steel featuring a 47 Ronin theme. The tsuka features two bamboo mekugi. The ito is black cotton over white samegawa. The menuki are golden ken with dragons. The fuchigashira are black steel.
