Item Specs

The sword set includes the Katana, Wakazashi, Tanto, and Free Table Top Stand. The blades of the swords are 440 Stainless Steel with an aesthetic hamon.

Features

Blade: The blades of the swords are 440 Stainless Steel with an aesthetic hamon. The blades come factory sharpened.
Scabbard: The scabbard of the swords are wooden with black cord sage-os tied around wooden Kurigatas. The Kanji for Bushido have been engraved onto each scabbard. The scabbard throats are steel with a scene of two samurai in the country side.
Guard: The Habakis are a steel construction. The guard of the sword is the square design from our Classic Samurai Sword Set.
Handle: The handles are wooden with an imitation ray skin cover and a black cord wrap. The end caps are steel with a dragon.

I was disappointed that they swords were not sharpened and that the finish on the cases was flat black rather than gloss black. I should have paid closer attention to the description.

Decent sword, but some flaws.	February 28, 2010

I bought this set in November, and I was very excited at first. When I opened the box, I noticed the katana was very loose in the handle. It still moves around inside it. Almost feels as if it will fly off. About a month later, the wakazashi is suffering the same fate.

For the price it is neat, but poorly made. I noticed that much of this sword was put together with what appears to be super glue. The cap on the sheath pops off if you do a fast draw. The sheath itself cracks easily.
Though all these flaws in it, I still love them. I would consider this if you are using them as decoration or art reference.
