Item Specs

The Dragon of the Orient differs from the Western dragon in that they are typically benevolent and wise. This dragon is also the ruler of the water and the weather. In China the Dragon was the symbol of the Emperor and for power. It is similar in Japan as well. However, in Japan the dragon only had three claws as opposed to its Chinese counter part which had four. For the Samurai the dragon was a symbol of luck and strength.

The Sword Set Includes the Katana, Wakazashi, Tanto and Three Tier Stand.

Features

Blade: The blade of the sword is constructed from 440 Stainless Steel with an aesthetic hamon running along the cutting edge. The blade comes slightly sharpened with a sharp point.
Scabbard: The scabbards have been constructed from wood with a dragon carved by hand into the wood. Each scabbard features a golden scabbard throat.
Guard: The guard begins with a steel blade collar. The actual guard is the classic dragon design from our Black Classic Sword Set, with an aged golden accent.
Handle: The handle of the sword is wooden with an imitation ray skin wrap. A black cord has been wrapped over the imitation ray skin. The end cap of the handle is a coiled dragon.

...it's hard to beat it, but in swinging this "sword like" group of pieces, the tang is loose and don't try to cut with it.

I Bought these just for the Wakizashi, but I was happy about the whole daisho. I'd recommend for people looking for wall hangers/have money laying around to bash them srry.
