The rigidity of the Matsuba (pine needle) represents the Samurai's strong moral code. Pine needles grow vigorously in many environments, just as the Samurai are able to survive in any environment. For all of its great qualities, the pine needle is also very elegant, just as the Samurai practiced the elegance of poetry, tea ceremonies and painting. The Matsuba is a perfect representation of the Samurai and its likeness has often been emblazoned on Sayas.

The sword set includes the Katana, Wakazashi, Tanto, and Free Table Top Stand.

Features

Blade: The blades of the swords are 440 Stainless Steel with an aesthetic hamon. The blades come factory sharpened.
Scabbard: The scabbard of the swords are wooden with a burgandy high gloss finish and black cord sage-os tied around wooden Kurigatas. Golden Matsuba decorate the scabbards giving the sword the rank of nobility. The scabbard throat is blackened steel.
Guard: The Habakis are a steel construction with the Musashi logo imprinted in the steel. The Guards are blackened steel with a dragon in waves.
Handle: The handles are wooden with a black cord wrap over imitation ray skin. The end caps are steel.
