This is a practice Aluminum Alloy Katana. The Katana is extremely light weight with a perfect balance. The blade comes full tang and unsharpened. This sword is perfect for practice of Iaito.

Features

Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed from Aluminum Alloy. An aesthetic hamon runs down the edge of the blade and a Bohi has been added to the blade in order to lighten it and provide audible feedback when swung. The unsharpened with a rounded off edge. The balance of blade is perfect.
Saya: The Saya is constructed from wood with a high gloss black finish. A black cotton Sageo has been wrapped around the wooden Kurigata.
Guard: The Habaki is a one piece brass construction. The guard is a sukashi design constructed from brass.
Tsuka: The Fuchi is bright brass. The Tsuka core is wooden with imitation Same. Two brass Menuki are on each side of the Tsuka, which also features black cotton itomaki.
Bag: A black nylon carrying bag has been included with the sword. The bag features a double zip velcro flap and is perfect for transporting and storing the Iaito.
NOTE: This sword is for practice only. The blade cannot be sharpened.

I love the product, and will order more for my martial arts school...but only one small problem, the cap on the bottom of the scabbard, falls off...I don't want to send them back for this small problem, but I really am afraid to sell them to my students in this condition. I would like to purchase this product at a wholesale price, then I would glue the cap in place myself, if at all possible.

Je trouve ce iaito très bien équilibré, tres bonne finition, la lame et fuchi sont alignés à la perfection. vraiment très bon produit pour ceux et celles qui veulent pratiquer une discipline du sabre.
