This is the Black Ocean Samurai Katana Sword Letter Opener. The fittings depict scenes of ocean life in the waves. The tsuka and saya feature gloss black paint and black and gold tachi style ito and sageo. The letter opener comes with a miniature sword stand for display.

Features

Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed from Stainless Steel.
The blade comes unsharpened.
Saya: The Saya of the sword is polycarbonate with a gloss black finish. A black and gold tachi style cord Sageo has been tied around the scabbard.
Tsuba: The Tsuba is brass with a sukashi design of sea life in the waves.
Tsuka: The Fuchi is brass with waves and sea creatures. The Tsuka core is polycarbonate with a gloss black finish. Black and gold tachi style ito has been wrapped over the tsuka. The Kashira is brass with sea life in waves.

If your someone that appreciates Japanese decor, bonsai trees, mini torii gates etc. this letter opener is for you. One of the better quality samurai sword letter openers I've seen. A wood stand not plastic, a unique guard design and what I believe is a ceramic sword holder. Funtion and Japanese style!!
