The blade of the sword has been constructed from through hardened 1065 Carbon Steel. A beautiful dragon has been carved into the saya of the sword.

Features

Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed from through hardened 1065 Carbon Steel. An aesthetic hamon has been added to the cutting edge of the blade. The blade features a deep Bo-hi.
The blade comes full tang and functional.
Saya: The saya of the sword is wooden with a black glossy finish. A beautiful dragon has been carved into the saya of the sword. The kurigata is wooden with golden shitodome. The sageo is black chemical fiber. The koiguchi has been hardened.
Tsuba. The habaki is a one piece brass construction. The tsuba is a blackened alloy dragon.
Tsuka: The Fuchikashira is blackened alloy. The Tsuka core is wooden with a white same. The ito is black chemical fiber. The menuki are blackened alloy dragons. Two bamboo mekugi secure the tang of the sword into the tsuka.

The syay is done in a very exspensive manner. The photo does not do it justice. The weapon is finely crafted and is a beautiful addition to my collection. You can't beat the pricing.
