Item Specs

This is the sword of Zhao Yun (A.D. 168-229). It features a carbon steel blade, wooden scabbard and black cord wrapped handle. The pommel, guard and drag are all brass and feature ornate prowling leopards and phoenixes.

Great sword at a great value	September 21, 2011

This is a beautiful and well made jian, and is exactly what I was looking for: something good-looking enough to display in my living room and sturdy enough to use as a practice sword as I learn various kung fu and tai chi jian forms. The sword and scabbard fit together perfectly, and the sword is very well balanced. If you're looking for an inexpensive practice jian, I doubt you'll find better.

If you want to sharpen this sword, it will take you at least a week, I been sharpening this sword all day with 220 grid and I am about 10% done LOL but will be cool after Iam done
