This Tactical Wakizashi 1060 Full Tang Fully Functional. The blade of the Tactical Wakizashi has been constructed from through hardened 1060 carbon steel brought to a spring temper. The blade comes full tang and very sharp. The handle is full tang with G10 side panels and steel pins.

My order arrived even quicker than tracking predicted. This sword is all it is advertised to be. It was very sharp and fits nicely in scabbard. Balance is good and grip is comfortable. With minor sharpening, it easily passed cutting tests of bottles, cardboard, and green bamboo. I am very pleased with this wak and highly recommend it.

Crooked tsuba on Tactical Wakizashi	January 3, 2013

Other then the crooked tsuba, the sword was light and well balanced in the hand. The plastic handle felt abrasive on the palm and not as comfortable as the traditional cotton wrapped handles.

.....and every single one had amazing fit and finish for the money, as well as awesome real world capabilities, even right out of the box! Had no trouble cutting through double tatami mats, but after I sharpened it they made origami out of them. Keep in mind this review is from a utilitarian point of view. While I find the appearance appealing, they don't compare to my hand forged japanese waks in the looks department. But they're certainly more durable.

I also wanted to mention that I live on the east coast, SnA is on the west coast and I still get my packages from them in two days using free shipping.
