Sword is full tang. Saya: The Saya is constructed from hard wood with a stained finish and black cotton cord Ito tied around a wooden Kurigata. The Koi-Guchi has been lined and hardened. Tsuba: The Habaki is a one piece brass construction. The Tsuba is a moko style and features the zodiac animals. Tsuba is made of brass. Tsuka: The Fuchi is blackened brass and features a dragon. The Tsuka core is wooden with authentic samegawa. Black cotton Ito has been wrapped over the Same. Two blackened Menuki are on each side of the Tsuka in the likeness of a dragon.
