Description Item Specs   The Handmade Ninjato has been designed specifically to endure the rigors of tameshigiri. The blade is light weight and very quick, when combined with the perfectly shaped tsuka the result is a sword that is extremely responsive and agile. The full tang construction and excellent heat treat ensure that the blade will consistently perform for years to come. Designed by Master Park. An aesthetic hamon and bohi has been added to the blade. The blade comes full tang, very sharp, and is fully capable of performing tameshigiri. Saya: The saya of the sword is wooden with a black high gloss finish and hardened koiguchi. The sageo is black chemical fiber tied over a wooden kurigata with golden shitedome. Tsuka: The tsuba is the classic black square design. The fuchigashira are patterned alloy. The ito is black cotton with alternating crossovers over crisp white samegawa. Two smoked bamboo mekugi secure the tang of the sword into the tsuka. The tsuka is perfectly tapered to fit the hands and provide an extremely responsive sword. Ninjato is just fine November 19, 2011 Reviewer: Anonymous from Littleton, CO United States   I've viewed much of the negative utube vids. Some folks need to relax...This Sword is awesome for the price. It looks and cuts as well as any in my collection, AND I don't have any concerns about cutting with it. I don't typically practice with my expensive stuff, cause ITS EXPENSIVE. Everyone interested in swords should have a ninjato and an account with Sword n Armory. These guys rock. ignore the hate October 30, 2011 Reviewer: bujinkan dojo nampa- from nampa, ID United States   i dont suport nintaijutsu but i have to give this blade a  star. i own over 30 blades and all the ninja-to models  from hanwei and this beets the practical and the iga & kouga. just some quick sharpening and custom work  and  its good to go! Not terrible... September 24, 2011 Reviewer: Anonymous Person   Dont get me wrong, this sword is beautiful. Especially the tapered handle. But, the blade is another story. I have a hanwei practical ninjato that i wanted to test so i took this sword and that one to cut some things. First, i cut a 1 1/2 inch  diameter rope and this sword didnt even cut that. So then i cut a milk jug, but it only cut twice before it couldnt cut any more. With this sword having a wavy (gunome) hamon, a tapered handle and real ray skin, i think you pay for the looks. Whereas the hanwei ninjato has faux leather ito wrap and fake rayskin, so you are paying for the blade.       If you are looking for funcuality go for hanwei its worth the extra 60 to 80 bucks. great ninja-to for the price July 28, 2011 Reviewer: nddave from mccall, ID United States   I was impressed with the quality of this sword. ito is tight and alternating, samegawa is good, and the steel is well tempered and holds a good edge. also it is made in the states rather than china, which impressed me as well.   I've handled both the hanwei practical and musashi and this sword by far beats both in appearance and functionality. also swordnarmory were great. fast processing and delivery and top customer service. I've dealt with two other highly recommended dealers, and by far sna has my next purchase.
