Daimyo Dragon Damascus Look Katana Japanese Samurai Sword with 2 extra Tsuba.

The Sengoku Period was 200 of years of Japanese history characterized by constant warfare, social upheaval and the emergence of some of Japan's greatest heroes. The central authority of Japan had decayed and the country was ruled by war lords. From the 15th century to the 17th century these warlords fought the government and other warlords. Warriors such as Hideyoshi, Tokugawa, Shingen and Kenshin came to power and changed the face of Japan.

Features

This is the Hand Made Damascus-Patterned Samurai Katana Sword.
Attributes of the Weapon:
Blade: The blade has been handmade with high carbon steel and pattern welded, creating a look similar to Damascus steel.
The blade features a wide shallow Bohi for better balance and a audible feedback when the sword is swung. The Kissaki is a medium chu. The sword comes full tang.
Saya: The Saya is constructed from hard wood with a black lacquer finish and a black cotton cord Ito tied around a wooden Kurigata. The Koiguchi has been lined and hardened.
Tsuba: The Habaki is a one piece brass construction. The Tsuba features a fierce dragon in waves. A Kozuka Hitsu-ana is on one side of the guard and a Kogai Hitsu-ana on the opposite side.
Tsuka: The Fuchi is brass with a dragon. The Tsuka core is wooden with authentic samegawa that has been lacquered. Black cotton Ito has been wrapped over the Same. Two brass Menuki are on each side of the Tsuka in the likeness of a dragon. The Kashira features another dragon.
