This sword is HEAVY. The blade is firm, and there is very little flex to no flex at all. The point of balance is 8" from the guard, so it's fairly tip heavy. To wield it with one hand takes a pretty strong arm. It's not bad at all wielding it with 2 hands. The handle is 10" long, so it's long enough for a two-handed grip.

The blade is SHARP, all the way down to the handle. I don't think the blade would ever rust. It looks like stainless steel with a satin finish.

The scabbard is nice, and it doesn't grip the sword too tightly. However, if you hold the sheathed sword with the handle pointed down, and give it a shake, the sword will fall out.

One thing is a bit bothersome: If you knock the handle with your knuckles, you will hear a rattling sound. I think the sword is structurally sound (being full tang), but the rattling makes it seem not quite solid.

All in all, for about $64 + about $12 s&h, I feel it's a pretty good deal.

The scabbard is the main con of this sword. The blade is very loose inside the scabbard, which is not at all appealing for this type of sword. It also does not secure the blade inside so the blade falls out when held up-side down.

Balance is also poor as a one-handed sword, decent for two-handed wielding.
