"I can tell you with no ego, this is my finest sword. If on your journey, you should encounter God, God will be cut. "

-Hattori Hanzo

At last a sword that can live up to the reputation of Hattori Hanzo Steel. This is the ultimate reproduction of the Bride's Sword. The geometry of the sword is perfect with a real clay hamon and all authentic Koshirae. The sword comes razor sharp and battle ready. It will take a worthy sword to face the Crazy 88. Are you prepared?

Handmade T10 Steel Kill Bill Bride's Samurai Katana Sword. This is a Must have samurai katana sword for all serious sword collectors.

This Katana Includes: A Cleaning Kit, Cloth Sword Bag, and Certificate of Authenticity.
  • Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed from T10 Steel in a Maru Lamination. In accordance with Japanese tradition, the blade has been treated with a clay covering, applied to the entire sword except the cutting edge. The blade is then heated and quenched in water.
  • The combination of the quenching and the clay cover creates a significant temperature difference in the Ha of the blade and the rest of the sword.
  • The result is that the Ha cools much more quickly than the rest of the blade, the molecules of the cutting edge expand and push back the softer steel of the blade creating the traditional Japanese curve.
  • The Lion of Hattori Hanzo has been imprinted into the steel of the sword at the base of the blade.
  • The blade comes full tang and Razor Sharp.
  • Saya: The Saya is wooden with a high gloss black lacquer finish. The symbol of the bride has been painted onto the scabbard. Just above this is a shiny brass kurigata with a loose brown Sageo. The symbol of Hattori Hanzo has been meticulously carved into the wood of the saya. The Koi-guchi has been reinforced with Buffalo horn.
  • Tsuba: The Tsuba begins with a one piece brass construction Habaki. Two brass Seppas secure the blade of the sword. The Tsuba is a cut out black iron design.
  • Tsuka: The Fuchi is blackened iron with a golden leaf; Tsuka core is wooden with genuine Same (ray skin) and black Silk Ito Tsukamaki. Two Bamboo Mekugi secure the tang of the sword into the Tsuka, while bright brass Menuki decorate each side of the Tsuka. The Kashira is the finishing piece; another blackened iron fitting with a leaf.
  • Free Kill Bill Collector Wooden Sword Box.

The Best Replica of Hattori Hanzo Blade May 25, 2016
Reviewer: Paul Jeong from Glenview, IL United States
I want to thank Munetoshi, Sword and Armory, and Jen for helping me purchase the Kill Bill katana with ease and confidence. The katana itself is really a joy to handle. The rayskin on the tsuka feels authentic and the blade itself shows a prominent hamon which caught my eye as I was taking the blade out from the saya. The blade itself was very well oiled and the fittings were not loose. I would say that this is by far the best replica of Kill bill Katana, the others don't quite match up (masahiro and other replicas) as this is a differentially hardened t10 tool steel with a REAL Hamon. Thank you again Sword and armory!

Very well made, VERY sharp.  The balance on this katana is perfect.  Feels natural in hand.  Cuts like a dream, and the hamon is beautiful.  A must have blade

All I can say is WOW! May 25, 2016
Reviewer: AK from Schaumburg, IL United States
This is a beautifully crafted sword.  The blade has almost a bluish hue.  The lines are straight and the hamon and polish is wonderful.  It gave me goose bumps when I removed the saya and saw the fineness of the blade even with the protective oil still on the blade.  Forget the Kill Bill story line because this is a very fine piece and definitely a sword to be proud to own.

WOW!!! February 16, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from New Haven, CT United States
I must have found this sword on the Sword Armory site sometime in early 2013 or maybe even 2012 (it was a long time ago).  I inquired about it and was told I would be added to the waiting list for when it came in.

As noted, a long time passed.  Months.  Then I get an email that it was in stock.  Bought it.  It's gorgeous.  I couldn't be happier.  Always wanted one because I just think they are true works of art.

It came in a decorated box complete with care instructions, a care starter kit, authenticity certificate, wrapped in a cloth "sheath" and in perfect condition.

Extremely happy with the purchase and the service from Sword Armory.
