Sword is full tang. Saya: The Saya is constructed from hard wood with a black lacquer finish and black cord sageo tied around a wooden Kurigata. The Koi-Guchi has been lined and hardened. Tsuba: The Habaki is a one piece brass construction. The Tsuba is copper and features a dragon in the clouds. Tsuka: The Fuchi is blackened copper and features a dragon. The Tsuka core is wooden with imitation samegawa. Black cotton Ito has been wrapped over the Same. Two blackened Menuki are on each side of the Tsuka in the likeness of a dragon. DISAPPOINTMENT July 21, 2011 Reviewer: Alejandro avalos from bakersfield, CA United States   Well this being my very first purchase I don't think there will be a second.  The blade was stamped in gold "CHINA" which makes it look cheap the blade rattles in its case and oil stained the box is falling apart and fraying on the inside.
