better than I thought September 11, 2010 Reviewer: Mark Shields from Corbin, KY United States   I've studied Martial Arts my whole life about it but for the past 10 or so I've been doing other things - living life you know. Recently my nephew started Shaolin and wanted a staff and me to show him some stuff. Long story short I needed a bo myself to teach him anything. I'm a little shorter than average at 5 6 and I like a bo that reflects me - short, stocky, but deceptively quick and powerful and that's what this bo/staff is. This bo is no toy despite the anime name. It's heavy and thick. Perfect for all those Shotokan, Shorin Ryu, and Ishinryu forms I spent all those years learning just they're coming back though.
