Chivalry was a term that came to represent a variety of different aspects of the Medieval world. During the early Medieval Ages Chivalry could refer to a company of knights, a land deed, or valor on the battle field. However, as the Medieval Ages progressed the term referred more and more to a code among the class of Knights. Chivalry became the ideals of all righteous knights. Ideas such as protecting the weak and never abandoning a noble cause became the staple of Knighthood.

This is the Long Sword of our Knight's Chivalry Medieval Collection.

Features

Blade: The blade has been constructed from Carbon Steel with a dulled edge. A ridge runs down the center of the blade.
Scabbard: The scabbard of the sword is wooden with a black imitation leather cover. The drag is a ball point design constructed from polished 440 stainless steel. The scabbard throat is also 440 stainless steel with V cut to fit the guard.
Guard: The guard is an Oakeshott Type XVIIIb guard built from Stainless Steel with a solid feel and golden highlights at the ends of the cross guards.
Handle: The handle of the sword features a ribbed design with a black imitation leather cover. The pommel is solid steel that balances the sword with an ornate design and golden fittings.

ok let me start by saying this sword is your average one of those looks good on my wall items that no body real cares for. I myself like to use my swords whenever possible and i gotta say this sword belongs in the junk pile. however the handle and sheath are both good and make fine items to but in any sword should you have the time to make one yourself. all in all its a wall hanger and unless your going to remodel it i wouldn't recommend it for much

The sword looks nice, but that's about all. Scabbard is extremely tight and fitting have a weak feel to them. Can't expect much, but what more can you get for this price.
