In Norse mythology the slain heroes of a battle were carried away by the Valkyrie (warrior maidens of Odhinn) to Valhalla (the land of the dead) where the heroes would then battle all day and feast all night. These souls were known as Einherjar, the Heroes of Heroes.

This is sword is a solid reproduction of the Type H Viking sword found during the 8th to 10th century. It features a mirror polish with intricate detail in the guard, handle and pommel.
