The Munetoshi Ninjato Performance Cutter is a next generation mat cutter with no equal. Featuring a three sided hira zukuri geometry and spring steel construction, this blade was made for precision mat cutting. The tsuka is perfectly shaped for complete control over the sword, whether you are performing single or double handed cuts. Proper edge alignment and technique will be rewarded with a blade that glides through mats with almost no resistance.

Engineered with the same high standards that have come to define Munetoshi swords, this ninjato is guaranteed to please.

Each sword includes an extra set of mekugi, seppa, sword bag, and certificate of authenticity.

Features

Blade: The blade of the ninjato has been constructed from through hardened high carbon steel drawn to a spring heat treat in a three sided hira zukuri style. A bohi has been added to the blade. An aesthetic gunome hamon runs along the cutting edge.
The blade comes very sharp and full tang.
Saya: The saya of the sword is wooden with a black high gloss finish and bull horn koiguchi. The sageo is black cotton tied over a wooden kurigata with golden shitedome.
Tsuka: The tsuba is a beautiful rectangle design with a detailed dragon in relief. The fuchigashira are patterned alloy. The ito is black cotton with alternating crossovers over black lacquered samegawa. Two smoked bamboo mekugi secure the tang of the sword into the tsuka. The tsuka is perfectly tapered to fit the hands and provide an extremely responsive sword.
