This is the Samgakdo Korean Gumdo Sword Mat Cutter Hira Zukuri Gold. The Yuki is hands down our best mat cutter. With its short point of balance, thin wide blade, and 3 sided Samgakdo design, the blade is extremely fast and precise.

Features

Please note that the sword should never be used on hard targets.
Detailed Specs of the Jingum:
Blade: The blade has been constructed from through hardened high carbon steel drawn to a spring heat treat in a 3 sided Samgakdo (hira zukuri) style. A straight aesthetic hamon has been added along the ha of the sword.
The blade comes full tang and very sharp.
Kaljip: The Kaljip features a glossy black lacquered finish and bull horn Ip. The Kumn Ok is brown cotton.
Kal Jaru : The Ko Geung Ee is blackened steel in a cut out design. The Kal Jaru features two smoked bamboo Sum Be-Gum Ong. The Gamge is brown cotton. The Sage is black lacquered ray skin. The Duitum Egi and Apm Egi are golden alloy in a simplistic style.

I will use this blade for tameshigiri matt cutting.
But I actually havent cut any matts with it yet, so I will base this review on what I have noticed so far.

Heres my review.

Saya: Like most mid grade online buys the saya is nothing special. Basic quality with a lacquered finish that will chip very easily. I plan on replacing mine. 3 Stars

Same: The same was disappointing. I hoped for better quality Munetoshi! 3 Stars

Tsuba: The tusba was pretty loose when I took it out of the box, but I just took it apart and replaced one of the fuchi. Its perfectly fine now. The gold paint is chipping though, replacing this soon as well.. 3 Stars.

Ito: Great quality cotton, although I prefer leather the cotton feels great once its worn in. 4 Stars

Blade: The blade is where the buy is at. If you need a low price HIGH QUALITY blade this is it. Very light, super sharp, and extremely well balanced. I'm still at awe with how great the blade looks. Bravo 5 stars.

THIS SWORD IS A REALLY DIFERENT SWORD!
I LIKE IT A LOT CUZ YOU CAN CUT REALLY EASY AND IT IS SHARP TO ME!
FROM THIS ONE WHAT I LIKE IS THAT TSUKA IS 11.25 AND IS PERFECT FOR MY KIND OF HAND AND THE BLADE IS JUST AMAZING.
