This is footage from our test cuts with A Musashi Brand 1060 Sword. The Sword is a sub $100 model but still held up to single Wara Mats.

The sword includes a Sword Bag and signed certificate of authenticity.

Features

The blade of the sword is constructed from high carbon steel. The Hamon and curve of the blade have been authentically created.
When the blade is quenched the sword is covered with a clay solution, except for the edge of the blade. The blade is then heated and quenched in water drawn from the spring of Longquan. Since the Ha cools much more quickly than the rest of the blade the molecules in the steel expand and force the softer steel to fold back.
A Bohi has been added to the blade to lessen the weight and give audible feedback when swung. The Kissaki is a medium length (Chu)with a well defined Yokote.
The blade is full tang and comes razor sharp.
Saya: The Saya is wooden with a black high gloss finish. The Kurigata is wooden with a shiny brass fitting. Tied around the Kurigata is a black cord wrap. The Koiguchi has been hardened by the application of laquer.
Tsuba: The blade is secured by a one piece brass Habaki. The actual Tsuba is blackened iron with a cut out design. Two brass Seppas secure the tsuba of the sword.
Tsuka: The Fuchi is blackened steel with a dragon. The Tsuka core is wooden with an authentic Same (ray skin) beneath black cotton Ito. The tang is secured by two bamboo Mekugi. On each side of the Tsuka are bright brass Menuki. The Kashira is blackened iron.

This is the first sword ordered through this site for me. very nice sword. The blade is straight and balanced nicely. The hamon is clear and visible. The tsuba is different than the one pictured online..and there are some scratches on the tip of the Kissaki. Feels a bit short for me. Are there different blade lengths for taller people?( I.E. 6' ) Over all..beautiful and proud to own. look forward to order from here again.

Quede tan contento con la calidad de esta katana que compre la "Sword Dragon Brown", la "Sword Mantis Black" para mi coleccion y otra de estas mismas"Katana Musashi Edo" para un regalo. Todas son similares en sus caracteristicas, todas tienen hamon real y son sencillamente excelentes por este precio.
