Description Item Specs   This is the Musashi Guard Wakizashi Samurai Sword. Overall Length: 30.5" Blade: Slightly Sharpened Blade Length: 19" Blade Material: High Carbon Steel Tsuka Length: 8.5" Tsuka Material: Ray Skin Condition: Brand New Accessories: Sword Bag Features Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed by hand from through hardened Carbon Steel. An aesthetic hamon has been added to the blade. The blade comes slightly sharpened with a full tang design. Saya: The Saya of the sword is wooden with a black high gloss finish. A black cord Sageo has been tied around the Kurigata of the saya. The Koiguchi has been hardened. Tsuba: The Tsuba is black steel with the legendary double ring design. Two Seppas secure the Tsuba. BUY THIS WAKIZASHI! September 2, 2011 Reviewer: D J from WYOMING, MI United States   I really like this sword. The scabbard to blade fit is absolutely perfect. It retains it fantastic. Better than my $300 sword does. The wrapping on the handle is very tight and very well done. The real same (rayskin) with the teeny tiny little nodules is very attractive. The handle to tang fit is not bad. Under the handle is a strip of ito wrapping that snugs the handle to the tang, but the fit is still very good. The ad says that the blade is partially sharpened; mine was mostly sharpened except about a 1/2 inch near the handle, and a large burr on the curve of the tip. A few strokes on the sharpening stone and it was slicing paper and killing waterjugs. You can not buy a nicer sword at this lower price point.  5 STARS Was this review helpful to you?

For the price not to bad May 3, 2011 Reviewer: Tyler from Somewhere   For the price this is a pretty good wak. it has a cheaper feel to it though compared to some of my other swords. There is a small amount of rattling in the saya and the out of box edge needed to be sharpened before use. overall a good deal though and im happy with it. Was this review helpful to you?
