These throwing knives are very very nice! US Army Rangers written on them is a definite plus! These knives would be perfect to carry for protection (although a throwing knife isnt the idea weapon to defend oneself). But, these are very sharp and are great knives for to learn to throw. I took mine outside and threw them into trees and they worked amazingly. Except, a couple times, i hit some hard rocks on the ground and broke 2 of my knives in half... So.. These knives are amazing!! But, not recommended for practicing with. Well, as long as you dont throw them at rocks i suppose they will be fine! Anyway, 5 Stars!! Highly recommended!
