Product Description

This is the Niuweidao or Ox Tail sword. The sword first made its appearance during the 19th century Qing Dynasty. The sword was primarily carried by civilians, and not by the military. In fact there is no record of this sword ever being used by the military. The Ox Tail has gained large popularity due its use in Kung Fu movies and is now refereed to as the Kung Fu Broad Sword.

Blade: The blade of the sword is 440 Stainless Steel. The blade is not spring steel, but still is pretty flexible. The blade comes slightly sharpened with a false upper edge. Scabbard: The scabbard is wooden with a high gloss black finish. The end cap is blackened steel with an ornate design. The scabbard has an open throat design. Two steel suspension rings allow the sword to hung from the belt as well as secures the sword in the scabbard. The scabbard throat is blackened steel. Handle: The guard of the sword is the traditional oval design. The handle is wooden with a black cord wrap. The pommel is steel with a white tassel at the end.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
