The Ninja was first recorded in the 15th century as a warrior organization who practiced espionage and guerrilla type warfare. The Ninja specialized in spying, assassination and infiltration. For these tasks the Ninja had to rely on quick thoughts, the ability to adapt and stealth. It was the Ninja's resourcefulness that determined his or her survival.

This is the Multi Function Full Tang Ninja Sword. This sword was made for stealth, with a blackened design, this sword was made for the night shadows. From the bottom of the scabbard a wooden snorkel is hidden. By pulling a black thread this simple, yet useful, snorkel can be pulled from the sword.

Features

Blade: The blade of the sword has been handmade from through hardened black carbon steel. The sword comes already sharpened and features a full tang.
Scabbard: The scabbard of the sword is wooden with a high gloss black lacquer finish. A black cotton sageo is tied around a wooden kurigata. At the bottom of the saya is a wooden snorkel that can be pulled out. A small thread allows the snorkel to be freed from the scabbard.
Guard: The habaki is a one piece steel construction and is painted black. Black steel seppa secures the guard to the blade. The actual guard of the sword is the traditional square design constructed from blackened steel.
Handle: The handle of the sword is wood. Imitation Same (ray skin) covers the handle with black cotton Itomaki over the Same. The tang of the blade is secured into the handle with two bamboo Mekugi. Two blackened steel Menuki are found on each side of the handle. The Kashira of the sword is a simple blackened steel end cap.

This was a great beginners sword for me and i loved it. I would recommend this to anyone who want to start cutting mats and bamboo and stuff.
