Item Specs

This is the Katana for the sword collector that wants it all for one great price. The sword has been created in a Kobuse Lamination with Medium Carbon Steel in the core of the blade and a High Carbon Steel outer layer. The Fittings have all been traditionally constructed from Brass with beautiful Gold Plated and Silver Plated highlights on the Saya, Tsuba and Tsuka. The Katana is as deadly as it is beautiful.

The Katana includes: A Beautiful Silk Bag, Certificate of Authenticity, and Wooden Collectors Box.

Features

Blade: The blade is forge folded in a kobuse lamination and has been clayed and quenched. It features a real hamon and is full tang and very sharp.
Saya: The Saya is wooden painted in a glossy metallic brown and finished with a heavy lacquer. Gold plated Sakura Blossoms decorate the Saya. A brown silk Sage-o has been tied around the bright copper Kurigata. The Koi-guchi is constructed from bull horn.
Tsuba: The Habaki is a one piece brass construction over a brass Seppa. The Tsuba is constructed from brass that has been plated in gold and silver. The Tsuba rests over an additional Seppa to secure the Tsuba over the tang.
Tsuka: The Tsuka core is wooden with a Ray Skin Same. A brown silk Ito has been wrapped over the Same. Two gold and silver Menuki decorate each side of the Tsuka. The Kashira is brass with gold and silver plated highlights.
Sword Bag: The Sword Bag is a work of art in its own right. The bag is silk with a black back ground and beautifully detailed scenes of flowers and birds. A golden cord is used to tie the bag closed.
