I'm using this sword in a Halloween display this year so I wanted something realistic but lightweight. This thing is awesome. I painted the metal portion with some metallic spray paint and wrapped some cloth around the handle. From a couple feet this looks like the real deal.

So a friend of mine and I wanted to practice fencing/swash buckling and wanting it for a cheaper alternative than buying fencing foils. This was a great choice. My only issue with these is that the hand guards didn't take much to come off in the middle of a duel. However the blade itself is quite durable and will withstand a full speed duel.
