Product Description

Musashi was the greatest swordsman ever in Japan. It has been recorded that he won no less than 60 sword duels and was never defeated. He was not only the best swordsman but also the author of the book Of Five Rings, teacher of his sword art and talented artist. Musashi was a Samurai in all aspects of the word, and the world may never see another of his caliber. This is the Handmade Soul of the Samurai Red Musashi Katana. Own the Soul of the Samurai.

Blade: The blade of the sword has been hand made with High Carbon Steel. The blade is through tempered. A Bohi has been added to the blade to even out the weight and give audible feedback. The sword comes full tang with an Chu Kissaki. Saya: The Saya of the sword is wooden with a red gloss finish. Wrapped around the upper half of the scabbard is a black cotton Sageo and brass-fitted Kurigata. Tsuba: The Tsuba of the sword is secured with a brass blade collar (Habaki). The actual guard is blackened steel in the Sukashi Two Cucumbers design (double ring) that Musashi created. Each side of the guard is secured by a brass spacer (Seppa), this fitting is only found on hand crafted swords. Tsuka: The Fuchi is blackened steel with a complex pattern. The Tsuka is constructed with a wooden core with authentic Same (ray skin) and cotton Ito cord wrap. One each side of the Tsuka are two copper Menuki. Two bamboo Mekugi secure the tang of the sword. The Kashira is blackened copper with the same pattern as the Fuchi.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
