This product is a great buy for the price. It is NOT ceremonial quality by any means, there is some pitting on the brass and the handle is not of the highest quality. However, my main concern was the etching or engraving on the sword itself... definitely wonderful! Looks exactly as pictured and better than most for the same price. My husband is a 7 year Marine and was very excited to receive this NCO sword for Christmas!

I purchased this after researching rental options for a period photo shoot and I must say I couldn't be happier. This sword is really great quality for the price and is pretty nice. I also purchased the CSA Cavalry saber at the same time and that one is even nicer than this one! Both are great buys for props!
